The Gambian community in Atlanta, under the leadership of Atlanta Gambia Emergency Relief Association (AGERA) is yet again poised to celebrate July 4th Reunion 2011. Atlanta Gambians are again prepared to host everyone for this annual pilgrimage and that of a difference this year.

Yes! Is that of a significant difference starting on Friday July 1, 2011 with our Grand Cultural Night. If you are looking forward to be in attendance, you cannot afford to miss this as we will have HE Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara and Former First Lady Chillel Jawara with a number of dignitaries in attendance.

The programs will continue the next day with the usual soccer tournament and later that evening, we will be hosting the First time Book Launching “Kairaba” with HE Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara. A number of surprises will be waiting during this spectacular event. Hope no one would like this to be narrated to them. Following that will be the Grand Gala Night.

Sunday is the D Day, with a surprising Picnic /Soccer Finals. Various performances will be in attendance. But wait, what about getting you best reserved for Assane Ndiaye and the famous Ngewel Band. Assane has promised to bring along a special souvenir just for Atlanta.  As a promise, AGERA is asking all to come and give the best to the organization of your own.
To add more taste to the entire weekend, we have the famous Comedian/Artist,  Saneekh from Senegal to entertain the audience.
